Hi, my name is Marit. I am 23 years old and I have been a boardmember of Kratos for 4 years now. I am the current chair women.
When I was younger I played tennis and then I switched to going to the gym. I started just doing whatever and when I joined Kratos I switched to a powerlifiting plan. After doing this for about 8 months I slowly transferred into bodybuilding. I now follow a full bodybuilding traings and diet plan.
Last year I did my first ever full cycle of bulking cutting and a prep phase. This was all to see what I could reach and to challenge myself. I did a photoshoot after this phase and am very proud of where I am now. My goal for the following years is to do more cycles and see how far i can come.
I'm looking forward to helping more people start their bodybuilding journey.
Hi, my name is Wesley. I am 21 years old and currently the secretary of Kratos. My sports journey started with football, followed by years of practicing judo and traditional jiujitsu, which taught me discipline and mental strength from an early age.
My fitness journey truly began with a weight-loss transformation that took a full year. After achieving that milestone, I was introduced to CrossFit, and everything changed. Over the past four years, I’ve dedicated myself to the sport, and I’m proud to now compete as a CrossFit athlete at a high level. This year marks a huge milestone for me: my first big international competition debut at the Amsterdam Throwdown something I could only dream about when I started.
I joined Kratos to connect with other motivated athletes and help build a strong student sports community. Outside of training, I study International Sports Management & Business at the HvA, combining my love for sports with the ambition to make an impact in the fitness industry.
My ultimate dream? To one day compete at the CrossFit Games and later work as a coach under HWPO Training, living by the mantra Hard Work Pays Off.
Hi y’all! I’m Jesse, 21 years of age, and this will be my third year as a board member of Kratos, yet again as treasurer. I’ve played many team sports before going to the gym, and switched into competitive powerlifting almost instantly after joining Kratos, with my biggest competition being the World University Championships last July in Istanbul. Hopefully I can show the fun in powerlifting to others as well.
Hi, I’m Aeneas, 20 years old and a Sportsmanagement student at the HvA. I grew up in Leiden, and have always been very active. Since i started playing baseball on a higher level i’ve been doing strength sports as well. That’s already 6 years ago now. I’ve been focussing only on strength sports for about 1,5 years now, and have been able to pick up some fitness certificates on the way. I can now call myself a certified strength and fitness coach. Needless to say that you can reach me if you have any questions about fitness, powerlifting, bodybuilding or functional training!
Hi, I’m Jan, turning 20 in December, going through my second year of Political Science Bachelor at UvA.
I have been a member of Kratos for the past year, and now I can proudly say I am a part of its great board. I am helping with handling social media and communication.
I was always a sporty person, tried swimming, basketball and tennis, but then I found the heavy metal plates.
Now, I am a standard gymbro, started around 16 years old, so closing on four years of experience. At first I was chasing some physique goals, but through the years the sole feeling of lifting heavy became my biggest driver. I have been interested in bodybuilding, powerlifting, strongman and armwrestling. I was never serious enough to compete, maybe someday.
I am looking forward to meeting new members, having great training and yap sessions and cool social events.
